Last week some members from the truck committed visited Pierce in Appleton, Wisconsin for print approval on the new Rescue 98. Rescue 98 will be 184″ heavy duty rescue pumper body with an Arrow XT cab to match the current E98. Delivery is expected in the summer of 2019.
At 7:39pm Station 98 was dispatched for a dwelling fire with entrapment at 330 Barclay Ave. DC30 arrived reporting smoke showing with a fire in the attic and confirming all occupants were out of the house. E98 handled fire suppression while other companies opened up and checked for extension. DC98 had Morrisville Command and the fire was placed under control within 20 minutes.
At 05:11 this morning SS98 was dispatched with Station 10 for a reported dwelling fire at 1120 Edgely Ave. in Bristol Township. DC13 arrived first reporting smoke showing from all floors. Crews from SS98 operated for 2 hours before returning to service. C10 had Edgely Command.
Station 98 was dispatched on 1/7/19 at 1:30pm for the report of a building fire at the Jiffy Car Wash on South Pennsylvania Ave. Upon Arrival DC30 found a fullyinvolved truck in one of the self wash bays.
