Morrisville Fire Company is located in Bucks County, PA just north of Philadelphia and directly across the Delaware River from Trenton, NJ. The company protects a five square mile area with a population of approximately 15,000 people. The company membership is made up of all volunteer’s who help protect Morrisville and surrounding areas 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. We operate out of a single station with two Engines, one Ladder, one Fire-Rescue, one Utility, and one Marine Rescue Unit. Morrisville Fire Company answers approximately 375 calls annually from structure fires and auto accidents to fire alarms systems and assisting surrounding fire companies.

At 23:15 Engine 98-1 was dispatched with Station 30 for a care fire at 7-11 on West Trenton Ave.  Engine 98-1 and Engine 30's crews extinguished a engine compartment fire on a Chevy Malibu.  Crews were available within 25 minutes.

At 15:30 Stations 98, 30, 32, & 31 were dispatched to northbound route 1 south of Pennsylvania ave. for an auto extrication.  DC-30 was first to arrive reporting two entrapped.  Crews worked for 20 minutes free the trapped occupants.  Rescue 98 & Engine 98-1 were available at 17:00.


 
HOUSE FIRE ON WILK DRIVE

At 08:30 Stations 98, 30, 0, & 32 were dispatched for tactical box 98-30 at 574 Wilk Drive for a chimney fire.  FM-246 arrived first reporting a 2 story dwelling with fire on side C.  Crews made quick work of the fire and had the incident under control in 20 minutes.  Station 98 was available at 10:15 and AC-30 had Wilk Command.


 
MFC TEXAS HOLD EM TOURNAMENT
   
The Morrisville Fire Company will be hosting a Texas Hold Em Tournament on April 25, 2009 at 7pm.  The event will take place at the firehouse 528 North Pennsylvania Ave in Morrisville.  The entry fee is a $75.00 donation with a $25 donation for re-buys.  You can download entry and sponsorship forms below.  Any questions call Tim Jones at 215.669.2038


 
RESCUE BOX ON LINCOLN HIGHWAY

At around 12:00 Stations 30,32, and 98 were dispatched for a auto extrication on Lincoln Highway in the area of the railroad overpass in Station 30's local.  DC-30 arrived reporting a two vehicle head on crash with entrapment in both cars.  Crews worked and had all occupants free in about 15 minutes.  Rescue 98 went available at 12:40.

At 05:44 Station 98 and Rescue 0 were dispatched for a auto extrication at the intersection of South Pennsylvania Ave & Philadelphia Ave.  AC-98 arrived reporting a vehicle vs. a tractor trailer with one patient heavily entrapped.  Station 98 stayed on location assisting police and went available at 08:30.

At 20:00 Engine 98-1 was dispatched with station 30 for a automobile fire on West Philadelphia Ave.  Deputy 30 arrived and reported a vehicle fully involved.  Engine 98-1 and Engine 30-1 extinguised and were available within 30 minutes.


 
SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN
   
Santa Claus will be spending the weekend with the members of Morrisville Fire Company on December 13th and 14th. Santa will be riding around the town giving out candy and spreading Christmas cheer. He will start on December 13th at 1pm and then again on Sunday the 14th at 3pm. Be sure to look for Santa on these two days. Everyone have Happy Holidays from the members of Morrisville Fire Company.


 
FIRE PREVENTION 2008
   
The annual Morrisville Fire Company Fire Prevention open house will be held on Friday October 17, 2008 at 7:00pm. The event is held at Station 98 - 528 North Pennsylvania Ave. There will be a presentation of awards, refreshments, videos, and a live fire scenario. We hope to see you there!


 
CREWS SAVE TWO FROM APARTMENT FIRE

At 00:25 Stations 98 and 30 were dispatch for an apartment fire at Colonial Gardens E building located at 490 Plaza Blvd.   DC-30 arrived  first reporting a 3 story apartment building with heavy smoke showing from the garden level.  E-98-1 arrived and stretched a handline to the interior.  While the engine crew was working on extinguishing, a unconscious female victim was located and removed from the building.  Seconds later another unconscious male victim was located and removed via a window on the D side of the building by crews from Engine 98-1 and Ladder 30.  The fire was quickly contained to a single apartment.  Chief 98 had Colonial Command and Station 98 was available at 03:00.  Thanks to Charles Berridge for the pictures. 


 
   
   
ENGINE RUNS HOUSE FIRE IN YARDLEY

While tropical storm Hanna was going trough the tristate area crews from Yardley, Morrisville, Falls, Fairless Hills and Newtown were dispatched to a dwelling fire on Lehigh Drive in Yardley.  Tower/Assistant 80 were first arriving to find a single family two story dwelling with heavy smoke showing.  Crews made a quick interior attack and held the fire to the first floor.  Chief 0 had Lehigh command and Engine 98-1 was available within 2 hours.  Thanks to Jeff Goldberg for the pictures.


 
   
   
FIVE INJURED IN TWO VEHICLE CRASH

At 23:50 Station 98 and Rescue 0 were dispatch to the corner of West Trenton and Hamilton Avenue’s for an auto extrication.  Rescue 98 arrived and reported a 2 vehicle accident with 4 victims trapped in a minivan and 1 victim trapped in a BMW sports car.  Crews worked for 20 minutes to free all the trapped occupants.  Station 98 remained on scene for lighting until 03:45.


 
   
   
2008 LABOR DAY RUN
The annual Morrisville Fire Co. 10k Labor Day Run will take place on September 1, 2008. Registration forms and race maps are attached below in PDF format for download(to download, click on Labor Day Run headline and file #1 is the race form and file #2 is the race map). You can mail or drop off your registration to Morrisville Fire Company - 528 North Pennsylvania Ave. - Morrisville, Pa 19067. Entry fees are $25.00 until August 31, 2008 and $30.00 on race day between 7:00am - 8:45am. The one mile fun run registration is $20.00, and all checks can be made payable to Morrisville Fire Company. Number and shirt pick up will take place at the Morrisville Fire Company on August 30, 2008 from 9:00am - 1:00pm and August 31, 2008 from 9:00am - 1:00pm. The 10k course begins at Williamson Park on North Delmorr Ave. and course maps are also available at the Morrisville Fire Company.

 
LADDER & ENGINE ON FALLS HOUSE FIRE

Ladder 98 and Engine 98-1 were dispatched at 15:40 today to Oak Lane in station 30's local for a house fire. DC-30 was first on scene reporting a one and half story single family dwelling with heavy smoke showing. Crews operated for about 2 hours and DC-30 had Falls Command. HOUSE FIRE IN UPPER MAKEFIELD

At 03:30 Engine 98-1 was dispatched to cover station 0 while they were out on a house fire with station 71. Just after the engine responded on the cover that were redirected in to the fire scene on Park Place just off of River Road. The engine operated for just over 3 hours and BC-71 had command.
